As both my partner and I are moving out of our apartments, we have relocated our “home” to an otherwise unoccupied house owned by his family. So, I’ll be spending the foreseeable future in Green Bay. I’m not going to lie, it was nice to change locations and scenery! Even just a long drive was welcome, and now we get to see new sights. I am enjoying exploring his stomping grounds with him.
This evening after I arrived, we walked the dike trail to the northwest of the parking lot, and looped around the wetland to the hill. Unfortunately from there, the trail is in disrepair and was not inviting (actually, it’s not even evident where it was). So, instead of getting our feet muddy to loop back, we just backtracked to our car.
